Lost is everything you would expect from a Gameloft game based on the hit TV show. It’s polished, well presented, but it doesn’t do anything anything exceptionally new, or, for that matter, especially well. Rest assured, what you can expect is a bit of action, a few puzzles and a high quality adaption of a high quality show.
Lost pits the player as Jack Shepherd, the troubled doctor and hero of the show. Trapped with a group of survivors on a (seemingly) deserted island, the game progresses through most of Season One of the show, with a slight mobile twist of course. You’ll re-live all the main events you enjoyed watching, the dramatic initial plane crash, meeting the Others and encountering the creepy smoke monster. It is very cool being able to play through your favourite moments, although the game does sometimes feel like you’re acting through the show, going through it scene by scene rather than being fully immersed in the game. It does have a linear nature to it, meaning it feels very scripted what happens; you’re forced to go from Point A to Point B without any room for exploration or the ability to really enjoy the neat scenery the game provides.
